A J Reynolds Truck Services was established in February 1991 at an 800 sq ft workshop in Frome, trading as a one man band. In June 1992 the first apprentice was employed. This was the beginning of the AJR apprentice journey, the journey still continues to this very day. In 1994 the business moved to a 3000 sq ft workshop still in Frome. Additional staff and apprentices were employed and the business continued to grow. In 1996 the business became a Foden Truck service dealer, this venture lasted for two years. In 1999 the business moved to a 4500 sq ft workshop still in Frome. In 2002 a car and van MOT bay was added. In 2011 the business joined Autocare, Approved Garages and TopTruck. In 2013 the business won Autocare Garage of the Year Award. In 2015 the current workshop was extended to 6000 sq ft. In 2016 and 2017 the business was awarded Small Employer of the Year at the Somerset Apprenticeship Awards. At the SW Regional finals of the 2017 National Apprenticeship Awards of the Year we were "Highly Commended" in the Small Employer of the Year category. At the National Apprenticeship Awards held at London in January 2018,  A J Reynolds was one of the Top 100 National Apprenticeship Employers for 2017. At the 2020 Wiltshire College and University Centre Apprentice Awards A J Reynolds won the "Small Employer of the Year 2019"  The story continues ........
